Joe Biden Spotted in Public for the First Time Since Disappearance, Fueling Speculation

US President Joe Biden Returns to White House After Recovering from COVID-19

US President Joe Biden made a public appearance for the first time since dropping out of the Presidential race and testing positive for COVID-19, putting an end to the swirling rumors about his health. The 81-year-old leader had been isolating at his Delaware home, leading to speculation on social media about his condition, with some even claiming he was in hospice care and unlikely to survive.

The hashtag “Where’s Joe” trended globally as Biden remained out of the public eye for five days. However, on Wednesday, he returned to the White House after his doctors confirmed that his COVID-19 symptoms had resolved and he tested negative for the virus.

“I am feeling well,” Biden said as he arrived back at the Oval Office and met with his national security team for his daily intelligence briefing. Despite reporters shouting questions at him about his health and decision to drop out of the race, Biden simply gave a thumbs up and expressed his gratitude for being back at the White House.

During his time in quarantine, Biden announced his withdrawal from the re-election bid, stating that he would focus on his duties as president for the remainder of his term. He endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic candidate to take on Republican nominee Donald Trump in the upcoming elections.

Biden also revealed that he would address the nation on Friday morning to explain his decision to withdraw from the race. “Tomorrow evening at 8 PM ET, I will address the nation from the Oval Office on what lies ahead, and how I will finish the job for the American people,” he announced on social media.

The President’s return to the White House and upcoming address have put an end to the speculation surrounding his health and political future, providing clarity to the American people on the path forward.
