Locations and Information for Voting in Pacific Beach for the Presidential General Election
As the Presidential General Election approaches on Tuesday, Nov. 5, voters in Pacific Beach and throughout San Diego County have multiple options for casting their ballots. The Registrar of Voters office has made it easy and convenient for residents to participate in the democratic process by providing various locations for both dropping off ballots and voting in person.
One of the key locations in Pacific Beach is the ballot drop box at the Pacific Beach/Taylor Library on Cass St. This drop box is available 24 hours a day until closing at 8 p.m. on Election Day, allowing voters to securely submit their ballots at their convenience. Additionally, there are four vote centers in Pacific Beach where voters can cast their ballots in person, including the Pacific Beach/Taylor Library, Mission Bay High School auditorium foyer, Pacific Beach Recreation Center craft room, and Wesley Palms auditorium.
At these vote centers, voters can drop off their ballots, use touchscreen ballot marking devices, receive voting assistance in multiple languages, and even register to vote or update their registration on the same day. The centers will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 2 through Monday, Nov. 4, and from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day.
For those who prefer to mail in their ballots, they must be postmarked by Nov. 5. To track the status of their ballot, voters can sign up for the free “Where’s My Ballot?” service on sdvote.com. For more information on official ballot drop boxes and voting centers countywide, residents can visit sdvote.com or call 858-535-5800 or 800-696-0136.
With these convenient options for voting, residents of Pacific Beach can easily participate in the upcoming election and have their voices heard.
